Object - fattening calves, beef fat, rape oil, calcium soaps and amides of fatty acids, manufactured on the base of beef fat and rape oil. Goal - investigation of productive and metabolic action of beef fat and rape oil additives to the ration of fattening calves and manufacture on their base of calcium salts and amides of fatty acids. Methods and equipment - zootechnical, physiological-biochemical, hematological, gas chromatograph Chrome-5, spectrophotometer VSU 2-P. Results - scientific-practical principles have been elaborated of the use in the rations of fattening horned cattle of "protected" in the form of calcium salts and amides of fatty acids of animal fat and rape oil on the basis of the carried out research. Novelty - for the first time there have been studied the effects of feeding with the rations of calves of calcium salts and amides of fatty acids, manufactured on the base of beef fat and rape oil, on the growth rate of the animals, on the level of metabolites of lipid metabolism in the organs and tissues, slaughtering characteristics of the carcasses, beef quality; influence of intra-rumen introduction to the calves of native beef fat and rape oil and manufactured on their base of calcium salts and amides of fatty acids on the changes in fat-acid composition of lipids of rumen liquid and chyme of the duodenum have been investigated. Introduced in the Association of Farm Owners (SVSG) "Kolbayevytska" of Sambir district, Lviv region. Branch - horned cattle feeding and fodder technology.
