The analysis of modern state of management organization and tendencies of development of a mechanical engineering of Ukraine in conditions of crisis of transitional economy is made. The conditions of shaping of a competitive medium in the markets of machinebuilding production are investigated. The concept of organizational - economic mechanism of shaping of the competitive strategy of the small and middlesized machinebuilding enterprise is offered. The factors of maintenance of competitiveness of the subjects in the product markets are revealed. The methodical positions on shaping the competitive strategy in conditions of recession in branch and main principles of price policy of the enterprise in conditions of monopoly and olygopoly market positions are developed. The directions of organization improvement of marketing orientation of activity of the small and middlesized machinebuilding enterprises in conditions of transitional economy are offered; fundamentals of a system shaping of demand, motivation, stimulation and inducing of sales at the enterprise is developed.
