Prokopovych T. The functioning of the national tradition in the religions art of Ukrainian Diaspora of the second part of XX century

The dissertation is devoted to the investigation of the spiritual work of Ukrainian west Diaspora in the second part of XX century in the context of legacy religious art. The culture creative process of Ukrainian community in modern polio-national society, which was set up on the interaction of the national tradition and belonging to another nation cultural values. The affirmation is motivated, that the orientations of the ethnic group which have the different directions are developed and formed in the conditions of emigrate environment. They are directed to the national self-confirming and are reflected art of artists-emigrants. The special attention is granted to the problem of grasping the idea by the Ukrainian migrants to the culture of great grand-fathers, which founds the harmonious continuation in the art activities of the representatives of Ukrainian Diaspora.The given aspect of the studying of the vital activities of the Ukrainian Diaspora stipulated the analysis of the mechanisms of a cultural adaptation of emigrant to new ethnic social situation as a culture regulative factors of the development of ethnic community. To solve the given tasks the artistic specimens of the religions art of Ukrainian Diaspora (architecture, the writing of icons, music) which represent the spirit activities of the Ukrainians, beyond the boundaries of the genetically of native land. They are in the countries of North and South America, West Europe, and Australia. This gave a chance to make the complex observations of the speciality of working up the national tradition in religious creative work of Ukrainian artists emigrants, which reproduces the ethically-philosophic conceptions of Ukrainian Diaspora, concerning the national question.The scientific elaborations of this problem in the fundamental works of researches of the culture and arts of Ukrainian Diaspora, the philosophy, the theory and the history of culture, the history of national faith are annualized in the history.The character of national exestuationof Ukrainian migrants in the different culture surroundings is fixed in the work that is concrete in the prevailing models of emigrate world look - conservative, synthesizing and transforming. It is proved, that the different philosophical aesthetic putting coexist simultaneously in the emigrate area, which are stipulated by the original behavior of the representatives of Ukrainian Diaspora, relatively to the national question and the perceiving of new society..The analysis of a religious creative work of the representatives of Ukrainian Diaspora of the second part of XX century allowed to show the importance in the spiritual constitution of migrants of the "genetically code" of great grand fathers culture. It gives a chance to determine the predominating world looked orientations of the Ukrainian emigrants, directed to the national self-determination.
