The dissertation is dedicated to the elaboration and improvement of the methods of inflammatory purulent and inflammatory postabortion complication prevention. Risk factors of the postabortion inflammatory complications development were determined, correlation of their development and the state of the vagina biocenosis, immune system and the character of preoperation were proved. There were identified the expressed antimicrobic properties of the medical plants extracts [(Bergenia crassifolia (L.) Fritsch, Potentilla erecta (L.) Hampe, Salvia officinalis (L.)]. There was conducted a comparative research of the local antiseptic preparation efficiency "Betadin", medical plants extracts and antibiotic preventive measures in the decontamination of genital mucous membrane before the intrauterineinterventions. The methods of differentiated prevention of postabortive purulent complications with consideration of the initial state of vaginal biocenosis and local immunity was scientifically grounded, elaborated and probated.
