Essay

The thesis is dedicated to the problems of the formation of musical abilities of junior school-children in music lessons. The author made a methodological analisis of the basic conceptions of the research,determined theoretical and metodological aspects of formation musical abilities summarized the main conceptions of musical education as to their progress. Criteria and levels of the development of musical abilities were determined, methods of diagnostics of such abilities of junior school-children were improved. Rationale and proof by experiment were provided for methods of integral formation of musical-auditory, musical-aesthe- tic abilities and abilities to musical activity at school providing general education.
