Essay

Object of investigation: Thin films and ceramics based on PbWO4, Bi2WO6, Sc2WO6 and Y2WO6. Aim of investigation: experimental investigation of optical properties of system based on PbWO4, Bi2WO6, Sc2WO6 and Y2WO6 and establishment of its connection with crystallochemical properties. Methods: optical, spectrophotometric, thermoactivation, luminescent. Results: In compounds based on lead and bismuth tungstates optical and luminescent properties were investigated. Possibility of its application in registration of ionizing radiation was showed. Inculcation: The results are used at the Ivan Franko L'viv National University for the spectroscopic investigations of new oxychemical. Application: Scintillation technics, dosimetry.
