Volkova I. Lexical-semantic characteristics of the Ukrainian Physical Terminology (based on the materials of the specialized editions of 1990 th).

The object of the study is the Ukrainian physical terms which appeared in modern specialized publications. The aim of this research is to define the special features of modern physical terms as a symbol of scientific notion compared to previous periods of its development, lexico-semantic analisis of modern physical terminilogi. Descriptive, comparative, quantitative methods and method of analisis of component were used. Novelty and results: we have compared and summarized the special features of the realization paradigmatic phenomena in physical terminоlogi of of 1990 th; we have distinguished the structural-semantic characteristics of physical terms within the studied period of time; we have worked out the lexical-semantic classification of synonyms, hyperonyms, hyponims, antonyms, polysemantic terms and homonyms of the physical terminоlogi of the end of the 20-th centuary; we have produced the recommendations as to the use of particular physical terms. Application field is semantic, lexicography,terminografy.
