Zilkovskaya L. Legal regulation of adoption in Ukraine

On the basis of the analysis of the scientific literature, national legislation of Ukraine and other countries the author of the thesis investigates the principal problems of legal regulation of adoption in Ukraine and gives a new definition of the concept of adoption. Special attention has been given to the determination of the circle of persons who have the right to be the adopters and adoptees. The work also contains a through analysis of the main stages and consequences of adoption and its termination. Talking into account the experience of others countries the author makes the recommendations aimed at the improvement of legal regulation of adoption in Ukraine.
