Essay

The thesis deals with the theoretical fundamentals and interpretation of the problem of bilingualism and diglossia as a kind of it. In the work a special attention is given to complete and partial diglossial bilingualism and its peculiarities. The author has ascertained peculiarities of an individual's formation in bilingual society and singled out social determinants of lingual behaviour of bilinguals.
