Essay

The dissertation is dedicated to increase the efficacy of surgical treatment of duodenal ulcers by minimal invasive operations - laparoscopic vagotomy. The shot and long-term results of surgical treatment in 292 patients with duodenal ulcers were analysed. Miscellaneous techniques of LV effectively reduce acidity in the stomach. Most simple in technical aspect were posterior truncal vagotomy with anterior seromyotomy or staple-assisted resection of small curvature. Laparoscopis draining operations on stomach by efficiency and frequency of complications do not succumb similar laparotomic operations.
