Tcholos I. Word-formation and Transference in Middle Bavarian Patois of Transcarpathia.

The dissertation is dedicated to word-formation and lexical transference problems in German Middle Bavarian Patois of Teresva vale of Transcarpathia conditioned by alien encirclement and prolonged isolation from initial language area. Actual problems of modern lexicology and germanic language are analysed. Ways of lexical composition of patois and 'language islet' phenomenon peculiarities are examined. The dissertation defines main types and modes of word-formation idiom under study, its word-formational resources. Besides the composition, suffixation and prefixation of nouns, verbs, adjectives and adverbs are described in detail. Lexical transference gearing and its types are considered separately.
