The object is the process of teaching writing English professional written communication to foreign trade faculty students of higher educational establishments; the aim is to create and substantiate the methodology theoretically, to verify and confirm it in the experimental teaching; pedagogical research methods; the new approach lies in creating and theoretical substantiation of the methodology of teaching writing foreign trade documents; the effectiveness of the suggested methodology was verified and confirmed during the experimental teaching; methodological recommendations on how to organize and implement teaching writing foreign trade documentation in English have been developed and applied in practice in three higher educational establishments of Ukraine
