The dissertation is dedicated to increase the efficiency of diagnosis and surgical treatment of diseases bile ducts by use of fibrocholedochoscopy. The results of fibrocholedochoscopy in 258 patients with diseases of bile ducts are analyzed who underwent laparoscopic operations (111 patients), and laparotomy (120 patients). The comparative efficiency of fibrocholedochoscopy and intraoperative cholangiography was studied. It was concluded, that fibrocholedochoscopy allows to evaluate the changes in the bile tree in 96 % of the cases. Introperative fibrocholedochoscopy performed through choledochotomy incision, both at open, and at laparoscopic operations, allows extract the concrements in 94 % of cases. Percutaneous fibrocholedochoscopy at the patients in patients with residual concrements after cholecystectomy is an alternative method to endoscopic papillotomy and allows extraction of concrements through the fistulous path in 86% of the patients.
