Essay

The object is large-scale continous and discrete-time systems of general form; the aim is to develop a direct Lyapunov method for large-scale continuos and discrete-time systems; the methods are method of decomposition and method of matrix-valued Lyapunov functions; the new approach lies in development of construction of matrix-valued Lyapunov functions for large-scale continuos and discrete-time systems; the results are sufficient conditions of motion asymptotic stability, exponential multistability and x-multistability.
