Essay

The dissertation is devoted to using of the Lyapunov functions method for the investigation of the dynamical characteristics of uncertain multiple time scale systems of differential equations, which are the mathematical models of the real mechanical systems. The Lyapunov functions method is developed to take into account the mobility of the equilibrium state of the system of differential equations and the presence of a parameter in it which determines the ratio of the velocities of ''fast'' and ''slow'' motions. A method of control construction that ensures the desired dynamics of the trajectories of ''underactuated'' mechanical systems is developed.
