Essay

On the basis of the carried out experimental studies it was determined that bum trauma is accompanied by severe intensification, of POL in subcellular compartments of the cells of different areas of the brain as well in erythrocytes of the peripheric blood. Disturbance of all elements of the fermentative antioxydative system, decrease of content of endogenic antioxidants of sulphydryl groups, ratio of NADP and NADPH as well as metabolism of cyclic nucleotides are marked. The most significant changes of all investigated processes are determined in erythrocytes of peripheric blood and in mitochondria of the cortical cells of the brain. The degree and intensity of the observed changes are estimated by the square of thermal bum and depend on subcellular structures of the cells of areas of the brain and term which passed after injury. It was determined that partially dependant changes of intensity of POL and functional state of AOS are one of the mechanisms of the development of bum shock. Primary activation of POL immediately after injury and the change of the increase of activity of all elements of AOS correspond to the erectile phase of shock.
