Rapeseeds. To substantiate and improve the technology of initial processing and storage. Methods of studying free-flowing materials are applied; the pilot plant - a model of the shaft grain dryer. The process of self-heating of rapeseed has been studied; effect of drying and storage on quality characteristics of seeds. Practical recommendations are given on refinement, drying and storage of rapeseed. A draft of the recommendations has been approved by SAC "Bread of the Ukraine". Results have been applied in STOV Serbskoe. Application is intended for farms where rapeseed is cultivated
