Essay

The Dissertation addresses the comparative effectiveness of the influence of electrostimulation and decimeter-wave band therapy on the functional state of paravertebral muscles in patients with reflexogenic, compression-root, and root-ischemia syndromes of lumbar osteochondrosis, based on the electromiography and reovasography data.It was established that the course application of electrostimulation more actively influences electrogenesis of paravertebral muscles in patients with reflexogenic and compression-root syndromes, causing increase of biopotentials and reducing asymmetry of their tension at muscle effort. At the same time, decimeter-wave band therapy more effectively influences the blood circulation in paravertebral muscles causing its normalization for the patients with reflexogenic and compression-root syndromes and substantially increasing blood flow for those patients with root-ischemia syndromes. The recommendations were developed in respect to the application of decimeter-wave band therapy and electrostimulation for those patients with various neurological symptoms of lumbar osteochondrosis.
