Vynogradova G. International Private Law Regulation of Foreign Investments Made in a Form of a Loan in Ukraine

.This thesis is dedicated to the issues of legal regulation applicable to foreign investments made in a form of a loan: the legal sense of a foreign investment made in a form of a loan as an independent form of investments is investigated and the scope of this concept is extended. Specific features of the legal nature of contractual relations created by making a foreign investment in a form of a loan is considered within the frame of investment projects implementation depending on their subject compositions. The investment agreement dealing with a loan or a credit is analyzed and a legal characteristic of this kind of foreign investment is provided proceeding from the civil nature of relations regulated by such agreement. A special attention is paid in this thesis to trends, mechanisms and possible ways of improvement of legal regulation applicable to foreign investments in a form of a loan in the context of international private law concept.
