Essay

The object of the investigation is the automatic lighting control system (ALCS). The goal of the investigation is to reduce the amount of the energy which goes to the lighting of the room. It is achieved by the automatic control of lighting due to the outdoor lighting conditions. The methods of the automatic control theory, optimization theory, mathematical statistics were used. The study of the experimental device have been make; the mathematical modeling have been make according to the parameters of the real rooms and outdoor lighting conditions. The new scientific achievements: 1. The mathematical model of the room was newly formulated. 2. The selection of the functional scheme of the ALCS was grounded. 3. The four control algorithms were developed, the best conditions of using each algorithm were formulated. 4. The selection of the methods of the robustness increasing was grounded. The practical results are: 1. The ALCS has been built and tested as the microcontroller device. 2. The statistics of the lighting control with the ALCS has been obtained. The field of using the system - the different companies of the Ukraine.
