3.The general rules in the electrokinetic reclamation of the sward-podzolic soil contaminated by heavy metal compounds has been studied in the external electric field depending on its voltage, composition of the moisture solutions and membrane system design. An increase in effectiveness of the electrokinetic reclamation is shown to be reached due to an increase in the electroosmotic transfer of contaminants. The general rules of the electroosmosis across the electrochemically active porous diaphragms in the electrode systems equipped with the ion-exchange membranes have been studied, and their theoretical analysis has been performed. The membrane system equipped with the porous electrochemically active diaphragm providing so reaching the maximum and stable electroosmotic flow in the location of the soil under treatment. The method of the electrochemical reclamation of the soil has been developed. It combines itself demineralization of the intersoil solution, its electroosmotic transport to the near cathode zone of electrodialyzer and moistening from the anode side. Key word: soil, heavy metals, electrokinetic reclamation, moistening solution, ion-exchange membrane, porous electrochemically active diaphragm, electroosmosis.
