Zhemchuzhkina T. Computer differential diagnostics of carbohydrate metabolism dysfunctions on the base of uni-compartmental mathematical models

The dissertation is devoted to questions of mathematical modelling of a carbohydrate metabolism with the purpose of development of methods of the computer differential diagnostics of the carbohydrate metabolism disturbances and the improvement of diabetes mellitus compensation. The mathematical model of oral glucose tolerance test is modified for a case of any glucose loading and mathematical models of secretion of insulin by a pancreas in experiments in vitro and in vivo, which represent the differential equations of the first order with delay, are developed. The method of differential diagnostics of the carbohydrate metabolism disturbances and the method of the improvement of diabetes mellitus compensations on the base of mathematical models of blood glucose dynamics and insulin secretion are offered.
