Essay

The object of investigation is Agkistrodon venom. The aim was isolation, characterization of the venom enzymes and use theirs for study of blood coagulation and fibrinolytic systems and for elaboration of protein C level determination conditions. It has been shown that the venom contains the fibrinogenase,protein C activator, inhibitor of platelet aggregation, which act on haemostasis system. Methods of the isolation and purification of these enzymes were proposed. Physicochemical characteristics have been investigated. Complex of the diagnostic tests and algorithm of diagnostic of haemostasis system parameters are developed. Field of application: scientific and educational institutes of medical and biological type.
