Balukh V. The Structure and Activity of Commercial Courts of the Russian Empire: Law-historical Investigation on the Instance of the Odessa Commercial Court (1808-1917).

Taking as an example the Odessa commercial court, the author of the dissertation has investigations the structure and the activity of the commercial courts. Chronological investigations embrace the period since Odessa commercial court foundation in 1808 till the liquidation in 1917. The main stages of domestic commercial legal proceedings since Kiev Russ till the beginning of XIX century have been analyzed. The social-economic and legal terms of Odessa commercial court foundation, as well as its liquidation have been determined. The analysis on normative acts on commercial legal proceedings in Russian Empire has been performed. The detailed characteristic on the structure and competence of commercial courts have been done. Scientific and practical importance of this paper is in the generalization of historical experience in commercial courts activity on the basis of Russian Empire, in studying its mechanisms of functioning for further importance of economic court system in Ukraine"
