Object of researches - elektroreflection from border of the isotropic dielectric - nematic liquid crystal at a various direction of reorientation of an optical axis. The purpose - development of physical-technological principles of creation of modulators of optical radiation on the basis of the elektroreflection from border of the glass - NLC for a wide class of devices, elements and systems Methods of research - polarizing microscopy, spectrofotofometric and goniometric methods of research of optical parameters ID, NLC, border of the ID-NLC. For the first time is shown an opportunity of achievement of a high modulating, high efficiency of transformation of an optical signal, high of optical homogeneity on all working field, and times switching - 0,02-0,5 ms. New original method for creation of orienting NLC structures was proposed. The influence layer of oxides Si, Ge, Al, In, Ta, sprayed by a catodic method and technological parameters them dusting on orientation parameters LС of structures is shown. Is established, that the direction of orientation of molecules NLC coincides about a direction ion bombardment in process dusting of focusing layers. Is found out, that the essential role in loss anizotropy of a microrelief of layers at heat treatment is played by(with) products of disintegration both organic and inorganic layers.
