Essay

The present thesis is on the issue of studying on the role of endothelium dysfunction and hemorheological disturbances in the development and formation of ischemic brain damage. Endothelium dysfunction was investigated on the determination of marker's endothelial dysfunction activity in blood - von Willebrand's factor. The connection between the level of Willebrand's factor and hemorheological indices is accompanied by cerebral hemodynamics changes as well as their role in the formation and development mechanism of various ischemic brain damages was determined. The use of penthoxyphylline improves the state of hemorheological indices and endothelial dysfunction marker in cases with initial forms of brain ischemic damages. The results of investigation show the necessity to include a complex study of endothelial function and hemorheological indices in the number of fundamental diagnostical means to reveal the early forms of vascular pathology and to ground the adequate treatment and prophylaxis measuresin ischemic brain damage cases
