Essay

The thesis is devoted to the new problem of mechanics of deformable solid for body with cracks with allowance for cracks’ edges contact interactions. The three-dimensional problem for linearly elastic, homogeneous and isotropic material with penny-shaped crack under normal action of harmonic tension-compression wave was solved. The problem was solved by the boundary integral equations method using iteration algorithm based on variational principles of dynamic theory of elasticity. The dependences of forces of contact interaction, displacement discontinuity and stress intensity factor (opening mode) in the vicinity of the crack’s apex on wave number with allowance for contact interaction were investigated. The comparison with results obtained for the penny-shaped crack without taking into account the crack’s edges contact interaction was done.
