The dissertation is dedicated to the complex research of the institution of the obligatory life insurance of Law Enforcement Agencies personnel and to the determination of the directions of its improvement. The process of the foundation and development of the institution of the insurance, the correlation between the forms of the insurance are considered in this research, the juridical nature of the insured legal relations, the essence of the personal insurance are explored, the juridical status of the participants of the personal insurance legal relation is determined, the principal forms of the voluntary and obligatory personal insurance are analysed in it. The proposals about the perfection of the acting insurance legislation, including regulating the insurance of Law Enforcement Agencies personnel, are entered in virtue of determination analysis of the peculiarities of the obligatory life insurance of Law Enforcement Agencies personnel.
