Essay

The thesis is devoted to the investigation of a group of Ukrainian phraseological units with the names of a person as their word-components. Qualitative and quantitative composition of the person-names in the lexical filling of the phraseological units, frequency of their usage have been determined. Systematic relations of synonymy, antonymy are investigated within the phrase-semantic fields and groups, phrase-synonimic groups and hyposynonimic groups.
