Essay

The work is devoted to the problems of etiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis and therapy of chronic fetal hypoxia in oligohydramnios of pregnant women. The mechanisms forming amniotic fluid and regulating urine production by fetus during the pregnancy are revealed. It is shown that one of principal factors leading to the reduction of amniotic fluid volume is fetal hypoxia as well as the presence of interrelations between the increase of maternal and fetal blood plasm osmolarity and the amount of amniotic fluid.
