Kulchytska M. The novels by Vasyl' Barka "Rai" ("Paradise") and "Zhovtyi kniaz'" ("The Yellow Prince"): a fiction vision of the totalitarian reality.

It is the first attempt to research the novels by Vasyl' Barka "Paradise" and The Yellow prince" as an idea-aesthetic integrity in the context of the Ukrainian and World literature upon the antitotalitarian thematic. An originality and innovatoin of the writer's fiction is explained in a creation of the totalitarion word vision (genre and style peculiarities, time and spase elements and coherents (chronotopos), a specificity of the fiction conflict development, the poetical aspects and world outlook background of an author fiction thought, the characters typology and the philosophical motivation of their being). The artist contribution to development of the novel genr is determined.
