Tsyrat A. Franchise agreements.

Thesis is an independent academic work, the first in Ukraine comprehensive research of a new kind of liability - franchise agreements. Special attention is paid to legal compare of regulation and definition of franchise agreements in different jurisdictions. The author gives definition and researches nature of franchise agreements, analyses its content and structure. Having analyzed franchise agreements structure, author has concluded that its specific object is franchise, which may be of different kinds. Depending of a franchise used franchise agreements may be divided on single-unit franchise agreements, multi-unit franchise agreements, development/area development agreements, master development agreement and master franchise agreements. Special attention is paid to international unification of franchise agreements regulation and conflict of law regulation of international franchise agreements in laws and court practice of different states.
