The social perception of the secondary school leader as a factor of his managing activities efficiency is examined. The theoretical fundamentals and technique for research of social-perceptional qualities of managers in the sphere of secondary education have been elaborated. Characteristics, determinations and tendencies of the development of social-perceptional qualities of secondary school leaders are determined. Methods of a close study of the social perception are tested, a model of social-perceptional qualities is worked out. The impact of social-perceptional qualities of school leaders on their managing activities efficiency has been proved on the basis of the experiment. The possibility and necessity of the development of social-perceptional qualities of secondary school leaders are grounded. Experimental core curriculum "Social-psychological training in the development of social-perceptional qualities of educational establishment leaders" in the organization process of basic training of educational institution managers has been developed and tested.
