Essay

Approaches to irrational cognition problems in Western European philosophical thought are analysed. Peculiarities of irrational cognition, its role and specification of the manifestation in the development of Ukrainian philosophical thought are characterised. It is proved that the reference to irrational cognition in philosophical culture of Ukraine is caused by the peculiarities of national and mental character. It has roots of antique and ancient Ukrainian mythological world outlook.
