The object is social institution of advertising; the aim is identifying social and culturalogical aspects of advertising functioning as a means of shaping the current way of life of the Ukrainian population; the methods are system and comparative analyses, questionnaire, content analysis; It's the first time the notion of Static and Dynamic advertisement has been introduced; social technology of forming the current way of life of Ukrainian urban population by nationally identified advertisement has been developed; the results lie in proving theoretical and methodological fundamentals of social advertising institution influence on forming the current way of life of Ukrainian urban population; the thesis can be applied to special courses on sociology of culture and advertising; the field - sociological sciences.
