Essay

Dissertations devoted to the complex study of the condition of stress-realizing systems of organism after craniocerebral traumas. For the purpose of studying the development of adaptation processes by the craniocerebral traumas and ascertaining the role of effect of morphine, there have been examined 128 patients with extremely severe craniocerebral traumas. The patients were randomized into two groups. Morphine was included into the similar treatment. Study of morphine effect on the blood system, the function of adrenals and hypophysial thyroid showed that inclusion of morphine into the intensive therapy protocol enables to prevent the development of stress-realizing system disturbances and facilitates the blockade of secondary adrenal activation and restoration of hypophysial thyroid functions.
