Кuzmenko T. Peculiarities of life orientations of liquidators of catastrophe at Chernobyl Nuclear Power Station

Object of research: Participants of liquidation of consequences of catastrophe at Chernobyl Nuclear Power Station that reside in the territory of Ukraine. Subject of research: Life orientations of liquidators and respondents of checking group. Aim of the research. To compare the structure of life orientations of liquidators, their social environment and checking pick; to find of tendencies of changes of life orientations of liquidators. Methods of research: Methods applied: analysis of documental sources, questionnaires, comparison, analysis, summarizing original and secondary data; methods of mathematical statistics, correlating analysis, determining averages, forming indices. Scientific innovation of obtained results. There were revealed some peculiarities of life orientations of liquidators, caused by participation in liquidation of consequences of catastrophe at Chernobyl Nuclear Power Station. Practical meaning of obtained results. Results of the research develop a new understanding of social structure of the society: a new specific social group of liquidators has just emerged. They have a practical importance for organizing social assistance to liquidators.
