Ostryk I. Details of yield formation and the fiber flaxseed anality at different harvest-time and methods of afterharvest treatment

The object of investigation - the process of yield and fibre and seed quality formation at different fiber flax harvest time, sowing qualities of seeds depending on the seed heap drying method and storage terms. The establishment of the regularities of plant growth and development and the effect of fiber flax harvesting in the various ripening stages on the fibrous produce and seed yield and its qualitative indices. The recearch methods are generally accepted for the plant growing branch. The effect of harvest time in the early-yellow and yellow stages on the yield and fibre and seed quality as well the methods of afterharvest seed material treatment on the posterity yield is revealed. The recommendations to production concerning fiber flax harvest time and the low -cost flax heap drying method are developed. The recommended harvest time and flax heap drying methods are introduced over the total area 270 ha at the farms of Brusylivskyi and Novograd-Volynskyi districts of the Zhytomyr region what secured the obtaining over 4 metric tons of straw, 1 metric ton of fibre and 0.7 tons of seed of the high quality per hectare.
