Essay

In the dissertation which is being defended the degree of disturbance of oxidation and anti-oxidation process of 87 patients with serious forms of localized wound infection (SFLWI) and 94 patients with sepsis is being studied. The primary purulent suppurative focus of SFLWI patients as well as patients with sepsis were pyo-inflammatory processes of soft tissues. The analyses of the received results witness that before the beginning of the treatment the activation of peroxide oxidation of lipids (POL) processes and depression of antioxidant protection (AOS) is being observed with SFLWI patients as well as patients with sepsis.
