Dyuzhev O. Biliary stenting for treatment of choledocholithiasis

The dissertation is dedicated to increase the efficiency of surgical treatment of bile stone disease complicated by choledocholithiasis through biliary stenting. The results of differnt methods of decompression of the biliary tree in 173 patients are analyzed. We have defined that laparoscopic antegrade biliary stenting has principal positive aspects as compared to laparoscopic operations with external drainage of the bile tree, which allows to decrease pyero-septic complications by 2.7 times. It was concluded, that laparoscopic operations on gall bladder and bile tree with antegrade biliary stenting allows to decrease the hospital stay by 1.7 times and social reabilitation by 2.7 times.
