The object - Ukrainian onomastics-based terminology and nomenclature. The purpose - to reveal the characteristics of the onomastics-based culinary terms and nomens functioning in the Ukrainian language, to observe the main tendencies and factors of this process. The methods - descriptive, statistics, the component analysis method. The newness and the results - for the first time in the Ukrainian linguistics the word-formation system analysis of the onomastics-based culinary terminology and nomenclature functioning in the Ukrainian language has been held; the great amount of the material used in the research has not yet been the object of the scientific studies.
