Alexeeva L. Development and research of the basis of high-precision computer technology with digital logarithmic data representation

The dissertation is a development of a foundation for computing technology, based on the digital logarithmic data representation. This thesis proves that the digital logarithmic data representation is using the same structure for iteger, fraction and mixed numbers and proposes to carry out the data processing presented in generalized data structure. It has been demonstrated that the digital axes of the multitude of digital logarithmic numbers is uniformly and fully filled along the range of numbers. Specialized software modules were realized based on the developed principles of carrying out arithmetical operations.This thesis proposes for the first time the principles for the development of a high-precision computing technology based on the data processing with the regulated range and on a traditional operational basis.
