Donchenko L. Public regulation of the banking system of Ukraine

The subject - the banking system of Ukraine under conditions of market relations development. The objective - disclosure and scientific substantiation of the ways of improving the organizational and procedural foundations of the process of establishment and development of the state regulatory policy of the banking system and development of mechanisms of implementing the economic transformations in Ukraine; methods - theoratical and empirical investigations, prognostic, analysis and synthesis; novelty - determination of the tendencies and pecularities of the establishment of the banking system of Ukraine under conditions of the transition of the economy to the market relations, has been proved the necessity of improving the regulation mechanism on the basis of the development of requirements and efficient supervision of banks, has been determined the level of fulfilling the Basle Principles of Banking Supervision in Ukraine and the main reasons of getting the banks in the category of problem banks; results - theoretical provisions of the envisigation have been expressed as specific proposals and have the form applicable for practical use in the state management; implementation - the methodology of calculating the money deficit is practically used in the process of supervising the problem banks.
