Essay

The dissertation work is devoted to the theoretical and experimental investigations of drying process in the dense layer of peat and coal which are disperse materials and are used in chemical industry and as fuel materials. The hydrodynamics and kinetics of peat and coal drying processes were studied. The experimental results are presented and the computation dependencies for predicting both the hydrodynamics of dry and wet layers and the kinetics of drying are established.
