Essay

The thesis deals with the analysis of the language of the publicistic works of Ivan Bagryany in the light of their idiomatic and stylistic peculiarities. The author analyzes the stylistic functions of different lexical layers and the stylistic use of phraseological units. Special emphasis has been paid to the language units used in the publicistic works of Ivan Bagryany which are maximally esthetically filled representing the image of Ukraine and the lexico-semantic field the USSR.
