The place and part of floral nominations in the generally used language system with the tendency for connotation development and symbolic contents generalization resulting in the extention of the stylistic functions in poetic language of the late 20-th century are analyzed in the dissertation. The regularities of florolexemes usage in poetry are considered. Intra-linguistic and extra-linguistic factors which contribute to the development of the word's figurative and expressive perspective described. Studying versatile possibilities of floral nominations and floristic derivatives is done with in the lexico-semantic context and with taking into considevation.
