The object is formation and distribution of precipitation in Podolia; the aim is to investigate precipitation distribution in different moistening warm year periods; methods - complex approach, climatological and synoptical methods of analysis; novelty - theoretical generalization and establishment of natural laws of spatial-temporal precipitation distribution formation over Podolia; results - natural laws of precipitation distribution, moisture of aerial masses, formation of frontal and air-mass precipitation in droughty and moistened warm year periods; introduced into educational courses at VDPU; branches - practice of state hydrometeorological service, professional training of geographers and environmentalists.
