Essay

The philosophic-ethic concept of the traditional ethos in the West European moral culture has been elaborated in the dissertation. It considerably enlarges ethic's sphere of problems and brings out on principle new horizons of comprehension the immediate existence of morality as ethos. It means the person's embracing in the social-cultural integrity, dissolution in the customs, in the system of acquired general meanings; at the same time - through this system of general meanings person interprets his own experience and behavior - it is talking about the localization of morality in the life program of every separate personality. The researching of the historical a priori of moral culture in the contemporary West European world and forms of the person's moral self-realization in Modern and Postmodern made it possible to give proof of the meaning-fullness and the effectiveness of the moral culture in the context of social-cultural dynamic.
