Uspens'kyj D. Diagnosis and surgical treatment of intraductal breast papillomas

The basement of the dissertation consists of the results of preoperative combined diagnosis and surgical treatment of 107 patients. The improved methods of cytological and ultrasonic diagnosis of the breast ductal diseases and the algorithm of the combined checkup were suggested and applied as well as the small invasive method of solitary intraductal breast papillomas surgical treatment using the high energy Nd-YAG laser elimination. The elaborated and improved methods of preoperative combined examination made it possible to coincide the preliminary and histological diagnoses in 98,1% cases. Intraductal laser vapourization shortened the total duration of the operation 2.5 times less, the terms of temporary disablement 5 times less, excluded the relapses in 95% cases and allowed to preserve the functional breast value completely also.
