M.M. Kotsubinskiy's artistic speech. The aim - structural typological parameters of comparative constructions in M.M. Kotsubinskiy's idiostyle. The methods employed are: descriptive, quantitative. All the cpmparative constructions, singled out in the artistic works of Kotsubinskiy, were analysed for the first time; their structural-typological parameters were determined. The results may be applied in contemporary Ukrainian literary language and its history, in Kotsubinskiy language studies.
